The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that the political parties also have the same right to reduced ad rates on television before an election that candidates do.

The one holdout? The one who isn't a biologist and also still wears a mask in public.

The Supreme Court on Friday lifted a ruling that prevented party committees from accessing cheaper advertising rates in the lead-up to November's elections, siding with Republicans, for now, in an emergency case that drew staunch Democratic opposition.

Federal law mandates that broadcast stations offer their lowest available rate in the 60 days preceding a general election. Everyone agrees candidates get the discount, but whether political parties and joint fundraising committees can, too, has come under question.

The court appeared to split 8-1, though the justices don't have to disclose their votes in emergency decisions publicly. The majority said that federal courts had no authority yet to intervene in the dispute.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the court's junior liberal justice, publicly dissented. In a one-paragraph opinion, she explained the lower panel likely had authority to move ahead.

Republicans' Senate and House campaign arms -- boasting a cash advantage and backed by the Trump administration -- brought the fight to the Supreme Court after Democratic candidates sued to stop them from accessing the cheaper rate.

Democrats are suddenly suing to stop this because, of course, the RNC has a huge amount of money right now and the DNC is broke.

With the midterms less than a dozen weeks away, the Republican National Committee continues to boast a massive cash advantage over its Democratic counterpart, according to Federal Election Commission disclosures made by both committees on Wednesday.

The filings, which cover the month of July, show that the Democratic National Committee had about $16 million of cash on hand at the end of the month compared with the Republican National Committee's $130 million in cash.

The DNC also has $17.9 million in debts, though the committee has reduced its debts by roughly 3 percent from the $18.5 million in debts and obligations owed at the end of June.

The Democrats' fundraising arm has been mired in money issues for months: The Washington Post reported in July that though DNC Chair Ken Martin and allies expected Democratic victories and the approaching midterms to bring major donors back, that hasn't materialized.

Reporters use the label "far right" 3 to 14 times more often than "far left." The term implies that the parties opposing mass migration are undemocratic. In fact, they're winning elections. The real fascists are the ones censoring, banning, and prosecuting their enemies.

Political parties that oppose mass migration are "far-right," according to most of the mainstream news media.

The Associated Press reported on Sunday that "the far-right Alternative for Germany was projected to win a strong victory in a regional election," and characterized the party as "anti-migration and Russia-friendly."

Reuters called France's presidential front-runner the "far-right candidate Marine Le Pen." AP described Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as "the head of a far-right party" who "backs curbing migration and promoting traditional values." Euronews labeled both her Brothers of Italy party and Matteo Salvini's League as "far-right."

Others describe Reform UK as a "far-right political party" and call its head, Nigel Farage, "leader of the far-right, anti-immigration party Reform UK."

The label implies that these parties are fascist, but by the standards of scholars who study fascism, they are not.

Roger Griffin, who wrote in 2020 that members of the International Association of Comparative Fascist Studies had "broadly adopted" his definition of fascism as "a revolutionary form of ultranationalism," and that "none of the leaders of illiberal democracies are actually fascist," and that the danger of parties like the Rassemblement National "is precisely that they are NOT fascist."

Tim Bale of Queen Mary University of London noted that the term "far right" is a "loaded, weaponised term" likely to "cause confusion and controversy in equal measure."

Even Gideon Rachman of the Financial Times, who is hostile to right-wing populists, admitted in 2024 that "if a party pushes policies that liberals regard as unpleasant, reactionary or even racist but does that within the framework of democratic politics and the rule of law, the term 'far right' may no longer be appropriate." And Rachman said Meloni "to date has looked like a relatively conventional conservative in power..."

Communists always lie. The first rule of Communist Club is denying the existence of Communist Club.

🚨 WOW! Fox News just absolutely stunned Sen. Jeane Shaheen (D).

SHAHEEN: I haven't heard anyone in my party wanting to give illegals taxpayer-funded healthcare!

FOX: I'm glad you said that. I have some tape...

"Show of hands: provide coverage for illegal aliens?"

EVERY DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: *Raises hand*

FOX: That's literally every member of your party...from moderate to progressive. 💀

LA police decide to finally crack down on "teen takeovers" and illegal street racing.

Dozens of arrests were made and hundreds of citations were issued when the Los Angeles Police Department completed "Operation Street Sweeper" overnight, busting a Harbor Gateway street takeover.

A fleet of tow trucks and buses was called to the scene to arrest drivers and spectators and impound vehicles.

According to LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell, "Operation Street Sweeper" was planned ahead of time using intelligence gathering and drone technology that helped officers predict the locations of four separate street takeovers.

The operation conducted by LAPD's Street Racing Task Force culminated in a massive scene at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and West Alondra Boulevard around 2 a.m. LAPD said over 700 people were gathered for an illegal street takeover at the intersection.

More than 150 LAPD officers were deployed to the scene and surrounded the massive gathering, taking dozens of people into custody and citing hundreds more.

In total, McDonnell said 66 people were arrested for participating in or aiding in a street race or takeover. Three additional arrests were made: one for assaulting an officer, one for battery and one for obstructing or interfering with officers.

In addition to the nearly 70 arrests, 570 citations were issued, McDonnell said. Of those 570 citations, 442 were issued for being a spectator at a speed contest or exhibition of speed. An additional 128 citations were issued for juveniles who were out past the city of Los Angeles' 10 p.m. curfew for minors. McDonnell said the youngest person was just 11 years old.

Law enforcement impounded a total of 200 vehicles from the scene, and in the process of making arrests and issuing citations, McDonnell said seven firearms were recovered. Canisters of nitrous oxide were reportedly also recovered.

Tucker Carlson: Algebra Is a Jewish Plot to Confuse the Goys by Sticking Letters Into Math

—Disinformation Expert Ace

Tucker Carlson used to posture as an intellectual. An intellectual who was not so far up his ass that he couldn't see practical reality or the real problems of citizens, but an intellectual nonetheless.

He never actually was an intellectual. But he did pose as one.

He's decided that Real Nationalist Socialism Populism requires its agitators to be dumb as Hasan Piker and now declares that nobody -- including engineers, pilots, ship captains, etc. -- really needs algebra.

It's a scam created by Jews to distract the goys while the Jews rule the world (without algebra, we assume).

Tucker Carlson has found a new hill to die on. Not only does he hate the Jews and blame Israel for every terrible thing that's happened on Earth, but he's now perplexed by the presence of letters in basic algebra. Advertisement

In an interview released Monday, Carlson spent two hours talking to Jess Elofson, an artist, potter/ceramicist, welder, and Ford collector who lives on a farm in South Dakota. Why he deserved an interview is unclear, but the pair discussed art, beauty, politics, and, of course, why "You're good little goy slaves" if you think algebra has any real-world application. How did they come to that conclusion? Because Elofson claimed to have never used it in constructing a wood-fired kiln.

"Why does algebra put letters into numbers?" Carlson asked.

"I think just to f**k with you," Elofson said.

"So you deal with math in your job every day. You've already, I think, demonstrated your grasp of math is high"

"I mean, functional math. Yeah, yeah, for sure."

"Well, if you can build a wood-fired kiln, you understand math," Carlson said. "But you didn't add letters to numbers in the process of doing that?"

"That's the weirdest thing," Elofson replied. "Nowhere did I find any letters in my math to calculate the size and structural integrity of a cantonary arch. Isn't that weird? Oh, that was weird. Because every math teacher was always like, you need to know some algebra. I've yet to encounter a single person in my life that uses algebra."

"Actually?" Carlson asked.

"Have you?"

"Yeah, but I mean, I live in a fake world," the former Fox News host said.

"That's why you use fake math with letters. Congratulations to everybody out there in the matrix. Good job. You're good little goy slaves," Elofson said.

"That's amazing."

Of course, this is the man who claims to have the best interests of conservatism at heart, although he doesn't identify as one anymore, except when it's convenient.

More Illegal Aliens Arrested for Doing That Thing That Never, Ever Happens

—Disinformation Expert Ace

We're moving towards The Most Secure Elections in History, and the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) don't like it one bit.

Footage obtained by Fox News Digital shows federal agents executing a sweep linked to a multi-state Department of Justice (DOJ) probe that has resulted in criminal charges against individuals for illegal voting, falsifying citizenship status and other election fraud related charges in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin.

The charges arrive as part of a highly publicized nationwide surge by the Trump administration to hunt down election-related crimes ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Over the past year, the Justice Department has filed lawsuits against nearly 30 states to force the surrender of confidential voter rolls, while simultaneously repurposing Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)--an agency historically focused on cartels and terrorism--to spearhead a search for unlawfully registered non-citizens.

"Despite the media and Democrats claiming it never happens, the evidence of non-citizens registering to vote in our elections continues to pile up," White House spokesperson Lauren Bis told Fox News Digital. "Any non-citizens found registering to vote and voting in our elections will be held accountable. Only Americans should be electing American leaders."

...

The Justice Department announced Friday that five people--including two illegal immigrants and two non-citizens with legal status--had been federally charged with unlawfully casting ballots, falsifying citizenship status, fraudulently registering to vote and aiding and abetting during the 2022 and 2024 elections.

Some of the arrestees, according to a DOJ press release, could face up to more than a decade in prison if found guilty of providing a false statement of citizenship in order to vote and other election fraud charges they are facing.

...

Meanwhile, Homeland Security announced earlier this summer that an audit of public voter rolls had identified more than 250,000 registered noncitizens in just four states: California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Nevada.

Just days ago, internal directives revealed by CNN showed Homeland Security Investigations launching a coordinated "voter fraud surge" into nine key states--including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin--to hunt down non-citizens suspected of election interference. The handful of arrests announced Friday are among the latest enforcement actions.

Very related: An illegal alien and criminal kept taunting an ICE agent by texting him that he was going to vote Democrat in the election and strip him of power and immunity.

ICE arrested him.

QThestorm @17QStorm

HE TEXTED ICE HE WAS VOTING DEMOCRAT IN THE MIDTERMS.

That's how they caught him.

Honduran noncitizen. California voter roll. Already on probation for blocking an ICE building -- then he kept texting the agent that he couldn't wait for November so their immunity would be gone.

"He had no fear whatsoever harassing an ICE agent, letting him know how he's planning to vote in the midterms and wants to take their immunity away."

"That, obviously, got the agent interested to see whether he WAS registered to vote. That's how he came on their radar."

Darwin Jonathan Rivera Flores checked the citizen box on November 4, 2025. Two felonies. Deportation if convicted.

Bill Essayli: first of many. California still won't audit the rolls.

The Eternal Op Continues: "25 years after 9/11, many Muslims fear a new backlash"

—Disinformation Expert Ace

The Real Victims of 9/11 were Muslims.

Just like the Real Victims of the conquests of Spain, Constantinople, and the Balkans were the Muslims.

The morning of Sept. 11, 2001, began like any other day. Sabinah Mohyuddin was getting her kids ready for school in Clarksville, Tennessee, while her husband, a cancer physician, was still asleep.

Then the first plane struck the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.

"I remember when it happened, because my husband always put his alarm to National Public Radio," she said. "He came running out shouting, 'Turn on the TV!'"

It wasn't clear whether the first strike was intentional. After dropping her kids off, Mohyuddin watched in horror as a second plane crashed into the south tower.

She and the rest of the nation waited in petrified anticipation for answers about who was behind the attack that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Then Mohyuddin, a Muslim, learned the hijakers also followed Islam.

"It fell on me like a heavy weight," she said. "What did this mean for the Muslim community? What did this mean for me?"

Making it all about you, and not even hiding it.

Now, 25 years after the attacks, Muslims across the country are asking the same question as they experience rising Islamophobia and concerns about their First Amendment right to religious freedom.

Over 40% of U.S. adults believe Muslims are less patriotic than other Americans and that Muslim Americans are having a negative impact on the country, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted in May.

Obviously far-right racists. There is no reason to think that there is an intense anti-American, anti-Western, and anti-Jewish strain in Islam, except, you know, for all the terrorist attacks and constant verbal attacks on the west.

But other than that -- no evidence. Must be racism.

The stigmatization, often amplified by politicians, has affected everything from immigration statuses to due process rights and everyday religious practices. Muslim leaders and community members, in turn, told the USA TODAY Network they're left fighting to defend their faith and warning the nation that its founding principles are at stake.

"Being Muslim doesn't make me less American," Salam Jabaieh, a Muslim woman from Arizona, said. "Those things are part of who I am, and I shouldn't have to make myself less visible or less Muslim in order to prove I belong here."

In the days after 9/11, then-President George W. Bush made public statements defending Islam and differentiating the faith from the attack.

He quoted from the Quran and said "Islam is peace" during remarks at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC. Bush also met with Islamic leaders, including Nihad Awad, national executive director and co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. CAIR was established in 1994 and is the country's largest Muslim civil liberties organization.

Though Awad disagreed with many of Bush's policy positions, he told USA TODAY he saw "sincerity" and "openness" from Bush, a desire for unity amid the devastation.

But the violence that plagued Muslims and mosques in the days and years after 9/11 stood in stark contrast to those sentiments.

The first 9/11-linked hate crime came just a few days later, when an Arizona man murdered Balbir Singh Sodhi, a Sikh man who wore a turban the shooter interpreted as a sign he adhered to Islam. Muslims were killed in attacks that family members and advocacy groups tied to the spike in Islamophobia. A number of mosques were also burned to the ground or severely damaged in arson fires.

Note there are no numbers mentioned here. "Muslims" -- no number given -- "were killed in attacks." "A number of mosques" were damaged in fires.

How many?

Not many at all, or else you'd tell us the numbers.

By the way, a lot of churches are burning lately and the media doesn't seem to think that's a sign of rising ant-Christian animus.

Now comes the media's "Bush was a good man tryin' his best but Trump is a monster turn:"

But Muslim leaders described a notable shift when President Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign in 2015. He initiated what became known as the "Muslim ban" during his first term and has taken similar action since returning to office.

Federal authorities have arrested and sought to deport pro-Palestinian activists, actions that judges have deemed a First Amendment violation.

"Activists." Members of the Muslim Brotherhood openly calling for violence against Jews and Americans.

Some Republican leaders also have used rhetoric and pushed policies that have come under criticism by Muslim Americans and others. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott designated CAIR a terrorist group in 2025, which initially excluded a number of Islamic schools from a state-sponsored voucher program because of perceived affiliation with the organization, according to a lawsuit. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis also issued the designation, which a federal judge struck down in March.

Such action by governors has had a trickle-down effect on local municipalities and school boards, according to Adam Abutaa, of the Muslim civic engagement organization Emgage Florida. Muslim students are less likely to feel they can freely express themselves on their campuses or to their elected officials, he said.

Really? Muslims feel they can't fully express themselves on campus?

We've seen Jews beaten by Muslims on campus. They want to "express themselves" further than that?

Saajid Khan, a 21-year-old University of South Florida student, echoed those sentiments. He was one of several students who were praying in a parking garage on campus in November 2025 when several men disrupted them, shouting profanities and taunting them with bacon − a forbidden food in Islam. The men were later charged over the incident.

"I think there's a lot of propaganda pushed against Muslims, which leads to an unsafe environment," Khan said.

There's a single incident of Muslims being "taunted with bacon."

How many incidents are there of non-Muslims being taunted with bullets and explosives?

Stephen Kruiser:

The number of Americans who are dishonoring those killed by Islamic terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001 is tragic and abominable. This is from a VIP post Catherine wrote over the weekend:

My colleague Robert Spencer, an expert in Islamic history and modern jihad movements, says that there have been 49,000 Islamic jihad attacks since the 9/11 attacks in 2001. And yet only 25 years after those attacks, with nearly 50,000 terrorist incidents attributable to Islam in the time period, New York has a Muslim mayor and Americans in all 50 states claim to support Palestinian terrorists. We even have U.S. administrations funding jihadi regimes and removing terror designations from Syrian mass murderers. It's insane.

Insane and heartbreaking.

There was a brief time of unity back in 2001 that has been followed up by a quarter-century of American leftists being apologists for Islam. They're either rabid supporters of jihadi murderers or dealing with a case of mass denial the likes of which has never been seen in history. The leftists' responses to Islamic terror attacks have become routine sick jokes. We're constantly told that motives are "unclear" when "Allahu Akbar!" was the last thing people heard before they were killed. If you're sane and mention that there just might be a pattern, they all start barking "Timothy McVeigh" like trained seals.

I frequently write about the fact that American leftists live in an alternate, fictional reality. One of the biggest fictions that they peddle is that Islamic terrorism isn't a problem, but the white Christians are a powder keg that's ready to blow. It's wearisome and dangerous. When Democrats are in charge, they're never looking for the real bad guys.

In another VIP post from last weekend, Robert wrote about what we can expect from the lunatic left this week:

Friday, September 11 will be the 25th anniversary of the jihad attacks that took the lives of nearly 3,000 people in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, and the far left's propaganda arm, the establishment media, is already hard at work repeating the lesson that leftists want us to take away from this grim milestone: It was all our fault. And now, "Islamophobia" is worse than ever, underscoring the left's second big takeaway from 9/11: Muslims were the real victims.

Insanity: Female Jurors Were Crazed With Anger as Judge Ruled Lindsay Clancy Trial a Mistrial
Update: Lawyer Wants Trump to Pardon> the Child Killer

—Disinformation Expert Ace

Update: The evil defense attorney wants Trump to pardon Lindsay Clancy... for the state crimes of murdering her children.

Townhall.com @townhallcom

Lindsay Clancy attorney Kevin Reddington making an appeal to Trump: "Mr. President, I would hope that you would consider, this young lady, the type of person she is, what she's been through, and consider a pardon."

Does that mean he's stupid? No, just evil. He knows Trump can't pardon his psychopath child-killer client. He's just trying to expand Lindsay Clancy's Cult of Murder so that the prosecutors feel pressured to drop the case or give her a sweetheart deal.

I missed this on Friday. Maybe you did too.

After the judge said he might declare a mistrial, he suspended the trial so that the insane defense attorney could appeal his ruling to not exclude one juror for being sane to the Massachusetts Supreme Court.

But that appeal was denied -- thank goodness -- and then he declared a mistrial.

Which the Pink Ladies on the jury -- ChristyBinky tells me that several of the women were wearing pink on the jury, which is the color Lindsay Clancy's supporters outside the courtroom were wearing -- were enraged by.

How the hell were they ever allowed on the jury, or allowed to remain on the jury?

Germany's Incompetent Chancellor Merz "Shocked" by AfD Winning Nearly an Outright Majority in Regional Elections in Saxony

—Disinformation Expert Ace

I'm shocked that he's shocked.

Note that while Alternativ fur Deutschland won a near majority, the usual European "firewall" f*ckery will now ensue in which the Greens, communists, "center" left socialists, and moderate "right" parties will form an ungodly Frankenstein coalition to block AfD from governing Saxony-Anhalt.

AfD is only three seats away from an outright majority in Saxony-Anhalt, but right now, that three seats is enough to keep them out of power.

Or is it? A far-left party that supports both Russia and sealing the borders says it might join the AfD, and that small party's five seats would be enough for a majority.

Meanwhile, the moderate "right" party continues to unmask and shows that they'll align with the Greens, socialists, and communists rather than do the one thing the public is screaming for them to do, seal the f***ing borders already.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz doubled down Monday on pushing through unpopular reforms to Europe's largest economy after a far-right party surged to a landslide victory in a regional election, with a very good chance of forming the first far-right state government since the Nazi era.

Merz said his center-right Christian Democratic Union was "deeply shocked" by what he called "the most serious election defeat that the CDU has had for years, for decades." But he indicated that he's determined to stay at the helm and said that "giving up is not an option for me."

The anti-migration and Russia-friendly Alternative for Germany, or AfD, fell just short of a majority in Sunday's vote in Saxony-Anhalt, a small eastern state that gained outsized prominence as AfD eyed power there. Its regional branch is one of several considered a proven right-wing extremist group by Germany's domestic intelligence agency.

LOL. It's led by a lesbian who's married to a Sri Lankan.

AfD's victory is a major distraction for Germany and Merz at a time when Europe faces several challenges, including Russia's continued aggression against Ukraine, a suspected sabotage campaign targeting NATO countries, and difficult dealings with U.S. President Donald Trump.

It's a "distraction" from the Uniparty doing what the Uniparty wants to do against the wishes of the public.

Gee, sorry to "distract" you, Uniparty.

Merz said he wanted to assure Germany's allies that "our institutions are resilient and stable" and the country will stick to its values and constitution after the AfD win. "We know that Germany carries special responsibility because of its history," he said.

By refusing to even budge on unlimited mass migration, you are the ones guaranteeing that a truly "far right" party will eventually sweep into power.

Because of Germany's Nazi past, far-right movements have always come under strong scrutiny. Other major parties have refused to cooperate with AfD in a so-called "firewall." Unlike many countries in Europe, modern Germany hasn't yet had a far-right or right-wing populist party leading a national, state or major-city government.

Determination to continue reforms 'unbroken'

Merz vowed to weaken AfD before he came to power last year, but instead has seen the party's support increase.

The governing coalition of his Union bloc and the center-left Social Democrats has developed a reputation for squabbling and become deeply unpopular, as has Merz himself. The government has struggled to persuade voters that it can get the country's chronically sluggish economy moving, through potentially painful reforms, including to the pension system.

So far, this article has acknowledge the economy, unpopular "reforms," and Ukraine, but has completely suppressed the issue actually driving the election, unlimited mass migration.

...

Germany faces another two regional elections on Sept. 20 -- in Berlin and in another eastern state, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, where AfD is also strong.

...

AfD is three seats short of a majority. It could reach out to the hard-left BSW party, which won five seats. The two parties share a Russia-friendly course and oppose immigration but disagree on some other issues.

BSW has criticized the "firewall" against AfD and signaled again Monday that it could allow Siegmund to become governor by abstaining in a potential third round of voting for a new governor in the state legislature, in which a simple majority would suffice.

Record support for the "extreme far right" AfD. Did you know that 44% of Germany's voters are extreme far right? Must be true, all the media says so.

Germany's far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) won a record 44% in Saxony-Anhalt on Sunday, leaving a small party with seats that could determine whether it can lead the nation's first far-right state government since World War II.

Why it matters: Germany rebuilt its democracy after Nazi rule with unusually strong safeguards against extremism. AfD's breakthrough shows those barriers aren't stopping Europe's far right from becoming dominant electoral forces.

The latest: AfD more than doubled its 20.8% share in 2021, hitting its highest vote share ever in a state election and finishing ahead of the center-right CDU at 17%.

BSW, the party that hasn't ruled out working with the AfD, barely cleared the 5% threshold parties need for parliamentary representation.
Together, AfD and BSW would hold 43 seats, one more than a majority.
BSW, a populist party, combines far-left economics with far-right migration policies and calls for closer ties to Russia.

Send them home, is AfD's motto.

In an interview on German broadcaster ZDF, the AfD's national co-chair, Alice Weidel, advocated for closing Germany's borders and exiting Europe's Schengen treaty, saying, "Illegal migration, unchecked open borders, anyone can get in. Our internal security is suffering. People are honestly fed up with this situation."

Weidel added, "All Syrian refugees must have their protected status revoked because the reason for their flight no longer exists. These people must return to their homeland. If they don't leave voluntarily, then they must be deported by force."

Adding that many of the 1.3 million Syrians in Germany are being naturalized, "we must stop naturalizing these people who should actually be leaving our country. We have Islamization."

#Based.

In May 2025, Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) classified the AfD as a "confirmed right-wing extremist" group, citing "anti-migrant positions and an ancestry-based definition of German identity." This past February, according to Deutsche Welle, that classification was put on hold by a German court after "Judges found that while there was evidence of potentially unconstitutional statements and policies within the AfD... it said that there was not sufficient evidence to characterize the party as a whole as extremist."

In other words, they're "far right" because they reject the idea that Germany should be made up primarily of Afghans, Syrians, Egyptians, and Nigerians. That's an "ethnically-based" idea of German identity, you see.

AfD attracted 42% of young voters and 40% of female voters of all ages, who are usually soft-headed and, how do I put this, dumb.

I cannot find a cite for this so take it with a grain of salt until confirmed.

End Wokeness @EndWokeness

Sep 6
It gets crazier...

Young voters (18-24): 42% AFD
Female voters (all ages): 40% AFD

Both traditionally far-left voting blocs

CNN had a "meltdown" over the results, obvvie.

The Morning Rant

—CBD

punk-monkey.jpg

Transfer payments? MORE transfer payments? That is the last thing on earth the United States of America needs, and for the administration to suggest more welfare -- because that is what it is -- suggests that they are unserious about the deficit and the debt.

And for JD Vance to spearhead this wrongheaded policy just adds fuel to the fire that he isn't quite the principled conservative that he would like us to see.

Welfare is a corrosive influence on a culture, even if its intent is in furtherance of conservative ideals: the nuclear family with one parent at home raising children. It expands the deep state by giving government officials control over the decisions of citizens, and it will never end. It distorts the economy by shifting reliance to government, and it impedes the creation of wealth by short-circuiting capital formation and flow, tamping down entrepreneurialism, and is wildly wasteful because it funnels cash through government, which is famously inefficient.

Trump Administration Floats Subsidizing Parents To Raise Children At Home

Officials are drafting a rule that would let married couples with one stay-at-home spouse tap federal child care subsidies, a priority of Vice President JD Vance, the New York Times reported. The plan would carve out a new category the draft calls "parent-based child care," letting one married parent draw assistance to care for their child while the other works at least 35 hours a week, according to the Times.

Hey JD...cut welfare, support strong voting security, continue the administration's work enforcing a strong border and tossing illegals out. No matter what your experience with multigenerational poverty, government is not the answer, and 60 years of Johnson's Great Society has shown us that in most cases, government is the cause!

Shrinking government is the best way to solidify the family in America. Give Americans more of their own money, and the problem will mostly be solved. Getting rid of many millions of illegals who hoover up housing stock and medical care and distort the labor market will pretty much finish the job. If America has it in itself to return to a saner culture, that is the way to give it a chance. More welfare will do the opposite.

And as long as I am giving Vance some advice...deal with your Tucker Carlson problem, or you are going to lose conservative support. The fact that you have not forcefully rejected Carlson's lunacy, which include attacks on President Trump and his policies, suggests that you are trying to please everyone, including Carlson's army of Pakistani bots and America-hating leftists who gobble up Carlson's nonsense.

That's a dangerous path, and one that might not work the way you want.

The Morning Report — 9/ 8 /26

—J.J. Sefton

GreasingNewsom.jpg

Good morning kids. Hope you all had a relaxing Labor Day holiday... With that in mind,I give you the always inspiring words of the great Ronald Reagan on his final Labor Day in office back in September of 1988.

We salute working people because they have built our land with skill, energy, and resourcefulness, transforming raw materials into a shining edifice of freedom and prosperity. On Labor Day we recognize these achievements and reflect on the meaning and dignity of work and on the values it protects and strengthens — the values we as a nation hold most dear.. . Let us always remember that so much of what we are, we owe to working men and women.

Today, in spite of everything, we have some outstanding economic news that the Commie propagandists are doing their best to suppress. First, wow!

American manufacturing is on the rebound — and that good news could hardly come at a better time for President Donald Trump, as Republicans gird themselves for the midterm elections just two months from now.

Manufacturing isn’t the only sector that’s on a hiring spree; businesses across the board added 162,000 new jobs in August.

Even The New York Times called the latest employment numbers “zesty.”

The paper quoted T. Rowe Price’s chief US economist, Blerina Uruci: “It’s a very good report . . . And it perhaps shows that financial conditions more broadly are not that tight.”

The workforce participation rate rose as well — which matters, because people who drop out of the labor force are invisible in unemployment rates that only count those who are looking for work... Establishment economists predicted none of this.

You can bet your sweet ass they didn't, and you can bet they were rooting for our economy to completely collapse. And yet we also have this to cheer about:

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday night that the analysis shows an extremely strong job market for those between 22 and 34 years of age without diplomas from a higher education institution. . . The historically low unemployment rate among this demographic, which rivals lows since 2003, breaks with the rates of unemployment among college-educated peers in the same age window, per the analysis . . .The report comes days after an extremely strong jobs report on Friday, with the United States adding 162,000 jobs in August with unemployment holding at 4.1 percent, the same rate as in July. The report blew past economists’ forecast of just 55,000 jobs and an uptick in unemployment to 4.2 percent.

And with that we have the forces of darkness and evil in the form of the Democrat Party ready as they have been for 200 years set to strike:

After watching Zohran Mamdani upset Andrew Cuomo in last year’s mayoral race, both radicals and relative moderates alike took the hint: Voters are desperate for candidates who speak to the frustration they feel at the gas pump, in the grocery line and after every utility payment. . . Embattled Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer won’t shut up about his conference’s “affordability agenda,” and the progressive caucus in the House is pitching itself using the exact same phrase. “Democrats in Key Senate Races Campaign on Addressing GOP Affordability Crisis, Bringing Down Costs, and Making Life Easier,” crowed the wordy headline of a Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee press release issued on Friday.

In the opening months of their reign, they swiped taxpayers’ credit card for $1.9 trillion. So they swiped again, this time running up a tab of well over $700 billion for what they dubbed the “Inflation Reduction Act.”That’s right, they dumped almost $3 trillion in cold hard cash into the economy under the supposition that would make everyone’s dollar go further.

Supply and demand: What is it? . . . Dismissing them as a hoax is folly. But they’d be well within their rights to remind Americans that Democrats’ only real interest in “affordability” is as a cynical slogan. And that all of their actual ideas undermine it in practice.

Don't be fooled by the feud between the alleged Moderates and the DSA. None of it is about policy. It's about control of the Democrat Party as well as how best to bamboozle the American people into thinking they have their and America's best interests at heart, and not the dismantling of America as founded and replacing it with a degenerate Socialist shit hole as was the fate of much of Europe and the world post the Second World War. Yeah, we won the war but the peace, not so much.

And so now, here's greasy Greaseball Newsom, the likely Democrat nominee for 2028:

Co-host Amna Nawaz asked, “So, let me ask you about how Democrats can win back control of Congress, because it’s been a pretty revealing primary season for the party, right? A reckoning, some have called it, too. You saw how many wins DSA candidates, Democratic Socialist candidates, were able to win, Donavan McKinney in Michigan, Chris Rabb in Pennsylvania, Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, he doesn’t identify as DSA, but was sort of aligned with them. If you have these candidates and this platform that is clearly animating the base, energizing turnout, should more of those ideas be worked into the broader Democratic platform?” Nawaz then cut in to say, “But there seems to be a little distance between some leadership and those DSA candidates.”

Newsom responded, “But not the ideas. We want — I believe in universal healthcare, and I believe in Medicare for All. The party does overwhelmingly, you poll people in the party. So, if it’s about more money in your pocket, lowering costs, it’s about getting money out of politics, and it’s about Medicare for All, I think we’re pretty aligned. It’s about recognizing that we’ve got a planet that is getting hotter and drier, and that we’ve got to address the issue of climate change, and we want energy security, and we want to move off fossil fuels. That’s a DSA position. That’s a mainstream position within the Democratic Party. So, I think, in many ways — it’s just a label. And it’s a familiar — forgive me, you’re talking to the wrong person, it’s such a familiar label to me. We called them progressives. It was the Green Party. I ran against the Green Party. It sounded — the exact same platform 20 years ago, maybe it’s because I’m from the Bay Area, maybe it’s because I’m from California. And I think it’s healthy. I just think it’s — I’m not consumed by this.

And he's supposedly mainstream and moderate. They're all scum, criminals, vermin and tyrants. Poor Ronald Reagan is rolling in his grave. And if we're not careful, we'll be spinning right along with him as the last tiny vestiges of America as founded are utterly annihilated.

On that positive note, I bid you all to . . .

Have a good day.

Good evening Horde. The time has come for Monday shenanigans. The bar is open and the refrigerator has been freshly re-stocked with A&W Rootbeer.

Welcome to the Monday night ONT which means vintage overnight fun and games. Pull up a chair and join the fun. Good will offerings of amusing puns are encouraged. Be nice to your fellow commenters and AoS contributors. Pants are optional. This ONT is a Tucker, Candace, Megyn, and Bill Kristol free zone. Fauci is fair game.

Below, some videos from an account called "Macrofying," showing extreme close-ups of tiny things.

He says these are all real, but I don't believe a camera can move so precisely to get these shots. I can believe that most of this is real, but surely the transitions between shots must be some kind of CGI morphing. Right?

Anyway, some cool stuff.

Open Thread: "Thief Busters" Hurt More Would-Be Thieves

I said last time that I'm not sure this is real, because the stupid legal system we live under would probably punish these guys as serious criminals for rigging a bike to electrify a thief. No punishment for the thief, but the guy putting out a bait bike: Maximum penalties.

Still, this all looks very real.

Setting up a Bait Truck to lure thieves into, before taking them on a rough ride:

John Ocasio-Rodham Nolte @NolteNC

What made the 80s special was that almost NO ONE -- except some teachers who still thought it was the 60s -- was uptight.

Everyone was cool. Everyone could take a joke. You never had to walk on eggshells. The girls were cool. Race relations were cool. We all had part-time jobs. We all had beater cars. We all drank beer, smoked cigs, went to the movies, watched MTV, and only wanted to have fun, not prove we were good people.

You had to be there.

THE MORNING RANT: There’s A Lot of Great News as We Start the Homestretch to the Midterm Elections

—Buck Throckmorton

Vote Buttons.png

Labor Day is the unofficial start of the campaign season for the November mid-term elections. The primaries are over, the phony summer push-polls are in the rearview mirror, and we’re about to be flooded with campaign ads. We have every reason to be excited to go to the polls to ensure an ongoing Congressional Republican majority, and to keep the DSA-influenced Democrats away from any levers of power.

The 20 months since President Trump’s inauguration in early 2025 have had the most significant conservative victories of my lifetime, far exceeding President Reagan’s accomplishments. Here are just a few of the things President Trump and his team have done:

• Closed the border to illegal invaders.

• Deported hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, and caused millions more to self-deport.

• Slashed the federal workforce.

• Eliminated DEI and wokeness from the military and federal agencies.

• Eliminated EV mandates and green energy subsidies.

• Effectively terminated corporate average fuel economy requirements for auto manufacturers.

• Engaged the military to eliminate narco-terrorists.

• Engaged the DOJ to target corporations engaged in illegal racial discrimination in hiring.

There are so many more milestone accomplishments beyond those.

For decades the conservative base has clamored for the above victories. President Trump finally delivered. Amidst all this, there are many “conservative” influencers who are promoting doom. For many of them, that is their job - being paid to blackpill conservative voters to stay home, so as to elect a Democrat Congress. The resumption of Democrat lawfare against the Trump administration is their goal.

High prices are a problem, and are very frustrating to Americans, because there is an unrealistic expectation that prices will come down from the crazy inflation of the Biden years. At one point inflation exceeded 9% annually according to government record keepers. (We all know it was much higher, and that it compounded year over year.) Inflation is back down to 3%, but even if it falls to 0%, the runup in prices during the Biden years aren’t going away. Wage growth is the answer to this problem, and that is now happening thanks to Trump’s policies.

There is abundant great news on the economic front:

Wages: The combination of industrial growth and elimination of off-the-books foreign labor is creating demand for employees and pushing up wages. Per the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank, wage growth is outpacing inflation, especially for those changing jobs, as employers are now having to compete for employees.

Industrial Activity: As I frequently write about, there is an explosion of industrial growth and economic activity in this country. The re-shoring of industry thanks to Trump’s tariffs and his America-first agenda is one of the drivers.

Job Creation: The most recent jobs report revealed job creation that was triple the expectation of “experts.” In addition, the number of job openings is surging. More than 1,000,000 new private sector jobs, filled by American citizens, have been created since Trump’s 2025 inauguration.

Here are just a few recent headlines that we can celebrate:

BIG NEWS UPDATE NOT FIRED

From her lawyer

"The irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false," Freedman said Friday. "Make no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise."

He added: "Those reporting her firing or the incredulous facts supporting that fiction have exhibited a complete and utter reckless disregard for the truth."

So what, she quit?
Megyn Kelly (accursed be her name) used to say all the time that Fox has a top female PR person who is a nasty pitbull and leaks nasty claims about anyone Fox is at war with, including those who have left the network. So I guess maybe she technically resigned? I don't know.
NEW: @FoxNews has obtained Lindsay Clancy defense attorney Kevin Reddington's appeal filing to the MA Supreme Court, which includes Reddington accusing the lone holdout juror of being "biased" against those with "debilitating mental illness", which he says is a protected category.

Walters actually asks Dolly Parton if she knows that people think she's a joke. This because Walters can't get over the fact that a show-woman has 1, big breasts, and 2, dresses a bit outrageously because, get this, she's an entertainer. A stage performer.
